Cambridge Quiz 2008

This year, the King's College London Chinese Society sent a team to Cambridge to participate in the annual Cambridge Quiz event. The contestants consisted of 3 first years: Julius Chin, Deborah Fong, and Alvin Li. The trio did well to represent King's and achieved a 4th place finish to the contest, showing their amazing wealth of knowledge over a wide range of subjects from history, geography, literature, current affairs, music, science, and many more!

Nottingham Sports Day 2008

As tradition follows, KCLCS took part in the annual Nottingham Sports Day. This year, we have sent a badminton team, a volley-ball team and a football team.  Despite the long travelling time and lack of sleep and rest, all of the teams did their best, especially the football team which historically fought their way into the finals, only losing admirably to UCL 1-0. I would like to take this opportunity to thanks Billy and Francois for organising the volleyball and badminton team and a huge applause to the players and not to mention the supporters cheering for the teams in the cold weather and losing their voices.
